Arts and Heritage

At Dead Earnest we enjoy working in more traditionally based Arts and Heritage environments.

We develop and run programmes with Museums, Galleries, Libraries, and theatres, working with a wide variety of client groups.

With Sheffield Museums and Galleries we ran a drama based programme of work for children and families based on the life of Equiano Oloudah. This Heritage Lottery funded project reached over 500 children and parents. We also created living theatre at The Western Park Museum, bringing to life the story of suffragette, Molly Morris.

With Sheffield Library Service we delivered a large scale creative learning programme at sixteen libraries across the city. In partnership with the libraries, we also have run our exciting and innovative Creative Sparks Programme.

We delivered a full scale creative consultation for Sheffield Libraries, engaging over 3000 members of the public about their views on the current library service.

For Sheffield theatres, we developed and ran a whole staff training programme, using forum theatre to explore best practise in customer service.

“Dead Earnest understood our brief straight away, they were on the same wave length and they listened to the spirit and the detail of what we told them.”

Elizabeth Underwood, Sheffield Theatres.
