Training the Trainer

Our techniques are all about the art of communication: about finding ways to relate to other people, make progress and find solutions. Did you know that, according to Professor Mehrabian, 55% of meaning is actually communicated through facial expression or body language?

Whilst we get great satisfaction at Dead Earnest for using our expertise to train and help people, we are also eager to teach people our techniques so that they can be used by others. As applied theatre specialists we can train people in the use of theatrical techniques so that they can use these techniques in their own place of work.

This does not mean we will teach you how to perform in the West End (although we could give that a try!); instead we can show you how to run a creative workshop that will get all the participants engaged in the subject. We can even train you in the art of Forum Theatre; how to build the scenarios, how to perform them and how to facilitate the discussions afterwards. These techniques can then be used by the people we train to develop others.

We can teach individuals and groups how to use these techniques, how to open themselves and others up. We show that taking risks and doing something differently can often be more than worthwhile. We give people the ability to train others.
