Role Play
It’s not just props we can place in certain situations; we can place actors there too. This offers a really interesting interactive element, as an actor is placed somewhere to play a certain role in character.
Much like the use of props, the aim of this is to structure activities around the character but this time you can ask questions and delve deeper into their history or purpose, sparking creativity or interactive learning.
It can be great for children to help kick-start creative projects but it can also be used as team bonding or training exercises in a professional environment. Imagine placing a fascinating character at a desk in the office one day. Imagine the intrigue it would cause and the possibility for activities based around discovery and learning. Imagine using actors to simulate real life experiences, thus giving people a chance to practice their work without risk. This is what we aim to achieve at Dead Earnest and we can support it with a large range of activities and schemes that we have developed over many years.
