At the beginning of March, Dead
Earnest worked with Wakefield Metropolitan District Council to question to what
extent we are able, in work situations, to tackle domestic abuse. The scenario
was based around a small office in which the behaviour of one member of staff
had prompted her work colleagues to be concerned as to her welfare. However, to
what extent did their anxious whispering help or hinder the situation? And, in
any case, what could they do when the woman in question steadfastly refused to
admit she had a problem?
