"Without doubt one of the best workhops I've ever attended.  Cannot believe that our 90-strong audience were so engaged for over 2 hours without a break.  This can only be due to the professionalism of the Dead Earnest team and their brilliant acting.  I've had nothing but excellent feedback from people who attended." Dead Earnest were nominated in the category 'Board Member of the Year'

"Dead Earnest use a variety of techniques to help people recognise, challenge and change unhelpful behaviour, and to rehearse new ways of thinking and doing."

The impact that illness can have on lives is both extreme and manageable - this is an area of life where we believe we can have a real and powerful impact.  Illness can shock us and can overcome us with the complexity of challenges it presents, both physically and emotionally. It can be hard for people experiencing health difficulties, and for those around them, to know what to do, how to feel and where to go for help and support.

We work with both patients and health care professionals to imagine better ways of doing things, to practice skills and to face challenges to make health care provision more effective.

Using drama, simulation and facilitation we create safe spaces in which patients, carers and health care professionals can rehearse strategies for coping with the challenges ill health presents. We use our expertise, combined with the knowledge and speciality of the health care profession to create accurate and rich learning environments. We work with partner organisations to create forums in which individuals can share problems and imagine solutions. We work with service users to find ways of disseminating experiences and lessons that could improve health care provision. We give health care professionals spaces where they can learn how best to help patients and those caring for them.

We strive to find effective ways to unlock our audience's strength to face the challenges which life sometimes presents.

Recent clients have included PCT's, South Yorkshire Deanery and The Multiple Sclerosis Society.
