Neighbour Disputes PDF Print E-mail

Dead Earnest was recently commissioned by the City of York Council to create a piece about a dispute between neighbours that was performed to senior managers and the Local Strategic Partnership. The piece looked at how a minor disagreement between the owner of a take away and a local resident quickly escalated into a vindictive campaign, with an unpleasant racist undertone. The challenge to the audience was for them to advise the  Council Street Environment Officer, who had found himself caught in the middle, how to best handle the situation or even prevent it from happening in the first place.
