www.arewebothered.co.uk is a content and community driven web site developed using material devised a scripted for a live event.  It is an attempt to utilise high quality, scripted and professionally acted dramatic content to drive traffic and initiate debate on the web.  It is just one of the ways that Dead Earnest are extending their toolset to reach people and help them think of positive ways to improve their life.

Funded through the community media association (Turn up the Volume) Dead Earnest set out to extend the reach of live performance onto digital platforms.  This is just one example of the way that we are utilising different platforms and technologies to engage with different audiences.

Dan Ramsden, Company Manager, said, "Dead Earnest started out in 1993 performing theatre in pubs and non-traditional theatre spaces.  We've always been more than happy to go out and look for audiences, and take professional theatre to places where it might not otherwise be seen."

Dead Earnest will soon be completing the first stage of the Interactive Narratives project, a translation of the forum theatre experience onto online environments.  The company is also exploring the possibility of using Second Life to stage a globally interactive forum theatre presentation.
