Words & Actions are a group of highly experienced
disabled actors that use forum theatre techniques to deliver training about
issues to do with disability and in particular what it is like to have a
learning difficulty. Set up by Dead Earnest, in 2002, they regularly deliver
training to undergraduate students in the fields of nursing and social work and
were the hit of the Skills for Care conference held in Nottingham
in September 2006.

'Streets Together, Streets Apart,' our very popular show dealing with issues of community cohesion set in Nelson, Lancashire, was recently filmed for DVD.

Dead Earnest recently performed a new piece for senior managers at City of York Council. The piece is part of work around community cohesion and the challenges facing contemporary communities.

Dead Earnest recently managed a creative fortnight at Firs Hill School in celebration of world book day. The project featured is a good example of how Dead Earnest can use a multidisciplinary team to combine different artistic and creative approaches.
