"When we heard it was equalities and diversity training we were dreading it... but that was quite good."

We are proud of our track record for delivering highly effective Equality and Diversity training that not only delivers to the requirements of the law and organisational policies, but also allows participants to air their views, take an active aproach and enjoy their training.

Words and Actions PDF Print E-mail

Words & Actions are a group of highly experienced disabled actors that use forum theatre techniques to deliver training about issues to do with disability and in particular what it is like to have a learning difficulty. Set up by Dead Earnest, in 2002, they regularly deliver training to undergraduate students in the fields of nursing and social work and were the hit of the Skills for Care conference held in Nottingham in September 2006.

Dead Earnest recently managed a creative fortnight at Firs Hill School in celebration of world book day.  The project featured is a good example of how Dead Earnest can use a multidisciplinary team to combine different artistic and creative approaches.
