Dead Earnest recently managed a creative fortnight at Firs Hill School in celebration of world book day.  The project featured is a good example of how Dead Earnest can use a multidisciplinary team to combine different artistic and creative approaches.

'Streets Together, Streets Apart' our piece dealing with community cohesion issues continues to be seen by audiences across the country, and has garnered some interest internationally for the way we are using theatre techniques to challenge and change communities.

Dead Earnest worked with Wybourn School to deliver their innovative programme of risk taking and creative problem solving.  Our team is now working on ways to offer this event to other schools throughout the city.

Dead Earnest continue to play an important role in Creative Partnerships in Sheffield.  A number of the team will be working with Schools across the city - details of this work will be published on the site soon.  
 
Sheffield Homes BME Forum PDF Print E-mail
Dead Earnest have just completed a project working with Sheffield Homes' BME Forum.  We worked in consultation with the group to craft a bespoke script and performed at their tenants forum.  The piece featured multiple languages and is a great example of the way we can work in consulation with commissioners and service users to create highly effective work.

Smokefree England PDF Print E-mail
We are involved in a number of projects related to the smoking ban which comes into effect on 1st July.  We also have a member of the team being trained in smoking cessation support, and will be offering this service shortly.
