Hi, we’re Dead Earnest and we’re Applied Theatre Specialists. What does that mean? Well, we are experts in using theatrical techniques to achieve social goals. These goals can range from focussing minds on a particular issue before a conference to working with children to develop their drama skills to training staff on appraisals.

At Dead Earnest we try to do something different, original and creative. We want to make your experience fun but we also want to make it worthwhile, whoever you are and whatever experience you are looking for.

One of our favourite techniques is Forum Theatre; we basically write bespoke plays that will engage with the audience and prompt discussions to result in positive outcomes.

We like interaction, we are experts in communication, we want to get you talking about the issues that matter to you. We also like watching the ducks swimming in the river outside our office, but that is quite beside the point.
